Kingspan Sustainable insulation and building materials

Building a Better Future
with Sustainability at the Core

The building industry has an important role to play in combating climate change. Saving energy and carbon is at the very heart of the products we make, and how we run our business.

Our Approach to Sustainability

Our People

We have a long-term commitment to sustainability and responsibility: as a manufacturer and supplier of insulation products, as an employer, as a substantial landholder, and as a key member of our neighbouring communities. We aim to adopt and apply best practice sustainability principles by ensuring environmental, social and economic parameters are considered in an integrated way in the operation of its business.

Kingspan’s advanced insulation generates significant energy savings for buildings. No other insulation material performs to the same levels of thermal efficiency, nor can it match the capability of our insulation to maintain its performance throughout its lifetime. Our natural daylighting and ventilation products also contribute to the health and wellbeing of building occupants, while our water management systems help to conserve and recycle this precious resource.

One of the most important factors in the success of our sustainability scheme has been the support and enthusiasm of our employees. Some of the best ideas for saving energy have originated with our employees. Without full employee engagement, we would not be able to achieve what we are proud to have done.
